You made the right decision.

Ever thought how different your life would’ve been if you wouldn’t have chosen the path that you’re walking on today?

I’m sorry for beginning this blog with such a complicated question but be honest, wasn’t that a personal attack?

We make certain wrong decisions, regret, cry, mourn for a little longer than before, learn (well, sometimes we don’t and that’s okay;p), gather ourselves back and here we are.

 Boom!

A WHOLE NEW VERSION OF OURSELVES!

A time like this strikes every person’s life where he/ she finds himself/ herself standing at the starting point of a tough crossroad. One cannot figure out which way to go and which way to avoid. Both the roads equally feel good to go but a sense of doubt also comes across mind at the same time. Now, what to do?

-Should I choose any of the roads and then see what happens next?

-Should I wait here at the starting point and start calculating the repercussions first?

-Or should I just believe in myself and pick the one my heart provokes me to?

-But my mind speaks logic too!

No doubts, infinity thoughts like these cross one’s mind at the moment and tend to distract one to make the right decision. Then what should one do?

-Give up on life and start believing that all is coming to an end?

-Buck up and force oneself to think that something is still unfinished and that it needs to be finished?

-Yeah well, Whatever!

Growing up we fantasize and manifest about infinity things and want them to become our reality at one point. But little do we know how tricky life is gonna be ahead.

Little me: “I wanna become an influencer when I grow up!”

*Travels in an airplane one day*

Teenage me: “I wanna become a pilot. Um, airhostess would also work!”

You see, how instantly we would change our goals, aims, dreams and vision. From thinking about following plan A, we suddenly shift to plan Z within a fraction of second. Oh c’mon! Stop feeling stupid now.

We often dream about stuff we want at the moment, the stuff we vibe to or we find “cool” at one particular time. But the second some other “cool” stuff catches our eye; we wish to divert our dreams in that particular direction.

But life has gotta do what its gotta do. It plays. It diverts. It makes us feel helpless. And…

Converts Our Desire to Need…

Now, before thinking about what we want, we think what we actually need!

And the crossroad we started this blog with, would now make sense here.

Two roads:

    • ·       I want this
    • ·       I need this
Two options:
    • ·       Either I kill my want for my need
    • ·       Or just go ahead with what I’m craving for at the moment and see what future holds for me.

They say,” Whatever it takes, go ahead with what makes you happy”. But the fact that nobody talks about the criteria of “whatever it takes” and “what happens after” is so disturbing.

Personal adult view: This doesn’t make sense to me, at all. Being a human with so much going on in mind all the times, how can one just put everything at stake and send it all for some temporary happiness?

Stupid me a few months ago: Do it already, if it makes you happy!

You would never know when destiny would start making your life a recreation or an amusement park. A few days back you may want an Apple watch. But the same person who made you fall in love with that Apple watch is gone today. And now that watch is a bad memory for you to hold on to rest of your life.

Of course, you cannot throw it away! It is a freaking Apple watch!

Secure your very own Apple Series 5 watch before it sells out!

Coming to the answer to the question, we began the blog with.

Q: Ever thought how different your life would’ve been if you wouldn’t have chosen the path that you’re walking on today? (Just in case, you didn’t want to scroll all the way up. Thank me later:))

Personally, I believe that the decisions that one tends to make throughout his/ her lifetime are meant to be that way. One’s destiny is designed to function in that particular manner. It is meant to be tough for you to realize what fun and adventure you experienced throughout your life, while one day you’d be casually chilling on your death bed. The decisions which you find so hard to make today would be your source of laughter in a family gathering tomorrow. I promise.

Time for a disclaimer:

Often out of our feeling of helplessness, we seek solutions from infinity people. This is where it all starts to go wrong. This is the point where your mind would boggle itself to an extent, coming back from where would seem next to impossible. The simplest of things which could’ve been solved with some hours of introspection now requires god’s presence to fix.

There is no harm in sharing your mess and let go of that feeling of burden. But when certain different opinions and advice and way out from certain different people start to pop in the discussion, your mind shivers a little and decides to shut itself down!

Disappointed? Grab yourself some words of positivity!

Real talk: I know you not but still, I kid you not. You’re sufficient to clear the mess you created. You’re best known to the repercussions and benefits of what you do. You make a choice. You pay the price. Either bad or good, just know it was worth it all.
